Growing up in Esperance, NY Jess began strumming her guitar at the age of 14. Singing in church choirs, high school choirs, and community choirs such as the Depot Lane Singers, Jess developed the skills to audition into Melodies of Christmas and later the Crane School of Music. Spending a semester abroad at the Birmingham Conservatoire, Jess studied both voice and classical guitar. Since college she has spend the last 9 years living in California performing at venues such as the Hotel Cafe, Hotel Utah, SoFar Sounds, and even Rockwood Music Hall in NYC. Her music has been featured on radio stations such as WEQX and KCRW.
